Cancellation, No-Show and Lateness Policy

At Werkman, Boven & Associates Foot Clinic, we strive to provide all our patients with the highest level of care. We understand that life can be busy, and unforeseen circumstances can impact your ability to get to your appointment. We operate a busy clinic, and your understanding and respect for our schedule is greatly appreciated.

We have established the following cancellation policy to ensure we can accommodate all our clients efficiently.

All Patients

  • We require at least two business days’ notice for all appointment cancellations.
  • All cancellations with less than two days’ notice must be made by phone.
  • The reason for all cancellations will be documented in the patient’s chart.
  • All fees for cancellations or missed appointments are the patient’s responsibility and are outlined below.

Returning Patients

If you do not provide two business days’ notice to cancel your appointment or fail to arrive for your appointment, you will incur a $50.00 fee. This will be billed to your account and must be settled before scheduling the next appointment.

New Patients

If you are a new patient and cancel your appointment with less than two business days’ notice or fail to arrive for your appointment, you must pay a deposit of $125.00 to reschedule. This deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee if you fail to attend or cancel the subsequent appointment with less than two business days’ notice.

Surgical Procedures

If you are scheduled for a surgical procedure and do not provide two business days’ notice to cancel your appointment or fail to arrive for your appointment, you must pay a deposit of $200.00 to reschedule. This deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee if you fail to attend or cancel the subsequent appointment with less than two business days’ notice.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, we may need to reschedule for a later time or day to maintain clinic flow and not delay other patients.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the best possible care to all our patients.
