Changes to Our Team

Things are changing at Werkman, Boven & Associates! We have had some changes to our Support Staff and Practioners’ roster. 

Kaitlin Boven is expecting another baby! She has started her maternity leave and looks forward to her and her husband’s second child. Kaitlin has recommended which practitioner your return visits will be with as you’ve come for your regular footcare over the past months. Lauren is happy to see you if Kaitlin has not made a specific recommendation.  

Lauren Wilkins, working with us for a little over a year now as an assistant, just graduated from the Michener Institute with her Diploma of Chiropody. We are happy to hear that she has decided to stay with us as a practitioner. She will be accepting patients starting immediately, so book an appointment with her today!

Vicki, our office manager, has moved to a primarily off-site position. Vicki will be answering your phone calls and emails and scheduling appointments, and she also is taking care of many administrative items while from the comfort and quiet of her home office. 

Karen started with us a few months ago, and I’m sure you’ve seen her smiling face at the front desk if you’ve come in to visit us. Karen is our new receptionist, and she will be more than happy to schedule your appointment, answer your phone call or email, and accept your payment for your foot care. 

Rhett, a current chiropody student at the Michener, has joined us as an assistant this summer. He has completed his first year at the Michener and completed his bachelor’s in Kinesiology.

Last but not least, we say goodbye to Laura, who has been with us since October 2015 and has worn many hats. Over the past two years, she worked off-site and handled our financials. We appreciate all her work for us, both in-clinic and behind-the-scenes, and wish her well in her next employment.
