Clinic Status Update: COVID-19
With guidance from The College of Chiropodists and the Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario, our office has been upgraded to be able to offer all essential chiropody services. We consider the majority of the chiropody care we provide to be essential so contact us to set up an appointment.
As we continue to focus on the safety of our patients and staff, we will be implementing the following:
- Patient mask-wearing: At your appointment at the clinic we require you to bring along & wear a mask that will need to cover your nose and mouth. For your convenience and a nominal fee, we do offer disposable masks ($2/ea) and reusable, fabric masks ($5/ea).
- Electronic COVD-19 screening form: To gather the required health information as per government regulations, we have developed a paperless screening form that will be completed and submitted electronically when you enter our clinic.
- Social distancing measures: To keep you safe in our clinic, we have placed the waiting room chairs 2 metres apart and they are sanitized after each use.
- Air purification: We continue to use a Surgically Clean Air Purifier in the clinic, which removes 99% of all airborne viruses, bacteria and fungus.
- Payment by e-transfer: We now accept contactless payment by e-transfer, while in the clinic. To do this, please set up our clinic ( info@werkman.ca ) in your mobile banking e-transfer section.
