The Werkman Foot & Orthotic Clinic team continues to experience the joy of learning by participating in these seminars and conferences.

September 19:

Rick Werkman and Kaitlin Werkman attended the Ontario Society of Chiropodists Surgical Seminar, Human Anatomy Laboratory at the University of Guelph.

October 25:

Rick Werkman attended the Canadian Health Care Anti-fraud Association (CHCAA) 2015 Annual Conference in the role of educator. As a Board Member of The Ontario Society of Chiropodists, Rick educated exhibit booth visitors on the scope of practice for Chiropodists.

October 29:

Kaitlin Werkman attended the Canadian Association of Wound Care’s 21st Annual Conference in Toronto to learn about the latest developments in wound management. Sessions included information on medical innovations, wounds at the cellular level, the bacteriology of wounds and dressings, and the role of oxygen in wound healing.

November 6:

Rick Werkman and Vicki Werkman will be attending the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine Conference in Ottawa. Vicki will be doing a break-out session on Strengthening and Improving Soft Skills for the Well-being of the Practice.
