May is Foot Health Month

As we come to the end of May, which is Foot Health Month, allow us to give you some tips and tricks to ensure the best health for your feet. 

  • Visit your chiropodist regularly for check-ups

  • Wash your feet daily

  • Keep your feet moisturized

  • Trim your toenails straight across

  • Choose appropriate footwear for your activities, especially with sandal season here

  • Make sure your footwear fits in both length and width

  • Exercise regularly

  • Check your feet daily for possible injuries

  • Ensure your socks fit well

  • Be careful when getting your nails done that appropriate sanitization measures are taking place

  • Wear sandals or flipflops in public showers

  • If you hurt your foot or feet, visit your chiropodist to avoid worsening pain
