Have an Emergency Foot Issue? We can help!

Published On: April 1, 2020

As you are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the closure of many businesses and services. In order to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff, we have temporarily suspended all elective Chiropody services until April 15, 2020 (subject to change). This time of social distancing is challenging, especially for those who may be experiencing a foot health emergency and not know where to turn. We want to assure you that we are here for you if you require emergency care.

What is considered a foot health emergency?

A foot condition that must be addressed immediately and, if left untreated, would threaten or negatively affect your overall health.

What is an example of a condition that would be considered an emergency?

  • Infections
  • Ulcerations
  • Wounds
  • Gout
  • Diabetic Foot complications
  • Minor Trauma
  • Foreign body (i.e. glass) in the foot
  • Foot pain that cannot be managed by over-the-counter medication

If you are experiencing any of these issues or if you are unsure if your condition needs immediate attention, please give our office a call at 905-845-4817.

While our office is closed to the general public, we will be answering phones and emails from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

We wish you all wellness during this challenging time
