Let’s Go Back to School!

With everyone happy to be returning to school after restrictions from the government and Mother Nature, allow us to give you a few tips to take care of your children’s feet.

Kids seem to grow so quickly, so keep an eye on their shoes. To ensure proper fit, there should be a thumbnail’s width between the longest toe and the toe of the shoe.

As money-saving as it might be, don’t include shoes in the hand-me-downs. Sharing shoes can spread fungus and warts, and the likelihood of proper fit between more than one person is minimal.

Ill-fitting socks can cause ingrown toenails and blisters. Make sure your socks are not too tight, not too loose, but just right.👱🏽‍♀️🐻🐻🐻

Socks aren’t the only thing that can cause ingrown nails. When trimming your nails, make sure you cut straight across, leaving a little white nail and do not tear them off.
