Celebrating Will’s Next Chapter: From Assistant to Chiropodist
We’re excited to share some wonderful news about a familiar face in our clinic: Will Brearley! For the past two years, Will has been an invaluable member of the Werkman Chiropody team, working as an assistant while pursuing his studies in chiropody. His dedication, warmth, and eagerness to learn have made him a favourite among both patients and staff throughout his chiropody career journey.
At the end of April, Will completed his final academic exams, and he’s now just finished writing his licensing exams at the end of May. This is a major milestone in his professional journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come.
Will is transitioning into a new role within our clinic. Over the next few weeks, he’ll be working closely with and shadowing Rick Werkman, gaining even more hands-on experience and insight as he prepares to become a licensed chiropodist. This mentorship period will allow Will to build clinical confidence, refine his skills, and make a smooth transition into his new role as a licensed chiropodist here at our clinic once his licensing is complete.
For those of you who have met Will, you already know how committed he is to patient care. His genuine interest in helping people, coupled with his academic training and now his practical experience, has laid the foundation for a strong chiropody career.
We wish Will the very best of luck for a positive result of his licensing exams and are excited to officially welcome him to our team in his new professional role. If you’re in the clinic over the coming weeks, be sure to say hello and congratulate him on this exciting next step!
