I’m Going on a Medical Mission Trip and I Need Your Help!

I am thrilled to announce that in January 2025, I will be joining a medical mission to the Dominican Republic with Medical Ministry International (MMI). This will be my second mission trip with MMI, and I am eager to contribute my skills to serve those in need. I need your help to support this trip! Please consider donating today.
My Mission Journey
In 2017, I had the privilege of travelling to the Dominican Republic, where I helped provide medical care, assist in surgeries, and offer primary care support to communities with limited access to healthcare. In 2020, I planned to participate in a mission to Colombia, but the pandemic disrupted those efforts. Thanks to your generous support, the medical supplies and financial donations were still sent to Colombia, where they were used to support healthcare facilities and purchase much-needed resources.
Our Approach to Healthcare
Teams work in a local hospital to provide surgical services to the community, while the dental, medical, and optometry components occur at the clinic site. There is also an Integrated Health component to these projects where we discuss hygiene, preventing the spread of germs, dental health, preventing dehydration, and so on. Teams collaborate with the local hospital staff and churches to ensure a comprehensive approach to improving health outcomes.
How You Can Help
This January, I will be returning to Nagua, D.R., to assist in providing local communities with primary care, dental services, surgeries, and health education. Led by Dr. Teo Beato, Dr. Frida Luna, and Kara Klingenberg, R.N.
To make this mission possible, I need your support. The cost for each volunteer team member is $3,400, and I am kindly asking for your help in sponsoring my participation. Donations can be made online through Medical Ministry International. Any donation over $10 is eligible for a tax receipt.
